Welcome to the Ja.NET download center. Below you will find downloads of several .NET versions of popular Java software, including Ja.NET SE, the Java development kit and runtime environment for .NET.   The pre-built binaries available for download are "hybrids", in that the jar/zip files include both the Java binaries and the cooresponding .NET binaries (i.e. assemblies).  They are packaged ready for use with Ja.NET SE, or if you just interested in the .NET assemblies that make up a particular distribution, you can simply crack open the jar/zip file and extract what you want.

Pre-built Java Libraries for .NET  Downloads

There are several versions of pre-built Java based OSS software available for download from our download page on sourceforge.net.  This list is changing daily, and includes several JUnit, JavaMail, JAF, Bcel, Ant, ORO, Log4J, etc.  Check back often as we continue to add libraries regularly.

These binary downloads are packaged such that they include the normal binaries built for a "standard" JVM as well as binaries (i.e. .NET assemblies ) that will allow you to run them on .NET. They are already packaged (i.e. .NET assemblies included in .jar's) and ready  to be used with the Ja.NET SE runtime. If you wish to use the library/assembly in a C#, or VB.NET, you will have to crack open the .jar or .zip and extract the assemblies you need.   

Note: Also bundled in the Ja.NET SE distribution are pre-built .NET versions of several other Java OSS packages not listed above, including Xerces 2.9.1, Xalan 2.7.1, XML-Commons, BouncyCastle 1.40, etc.
